I’ve been to Locale90 a handful of times over the years and remembered it being good enough that, when we found ourselves nearby with the family, going back seemed like an easy decision. Walking into an almost completely empty dining room while seemingly every restaurant around it was busy gave me pause, but sometimes an empty restaurant is simply good timing. We sat down hoping that was the case. There is real care behind the ingredients here. The pizza is built from the right vocabulary. 00 flour, San Marzano tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, good olive oil and you can taste that somebody has made deliberate choices about what belongs on it. I ordered the Margherita and added mushrooms, which turned out to be a great addition. The mushrooms were excellent, the tomato had real flavor and the blistering from the oven gave it that irregular handmade character you want from this kind of pizza. The proportions just didn’t quite work for me. There was so much crust relative to what was happening in the center that eventually the crust became the meal. Some of the char crossed pretty decisively into black, which I can live with from a very hot oven, but the Margherita also felt strangely st

Another great meal at Locale90! The food came out fast and was delicious as always. Chris is always our server and knows exactly what we want before we even have to ask. The service is consistently outstanding, and it’s one of the reasons we keep coming back. A big thank you to all the staff and chefs for their hard work and for always providing such a great dining experience. We look forward to seeing everyone again next week!

Best AUTHENTIC Italian pizza in south bay and perhaps all of LA. I'm from the east coast. I've lived in Italy. I spent 6 years in NYC. I never eat pizza outside of NYC or Italy... I'm a bonafide pizza snob - and I'll be coming back again! we ordered the arugula and prosciutto margherita and it was fabulous. They even have Peroni beer and a nice wine selection ! 10 stars!!!

We were so disappointed in this place. The caesar salad was drenched in dressing that was so sour I could barely eat it. The only redeeming detail of the place is that the pizza crust is very good but not good enough to ever go back. We ordered the 4 cheese pizza but they were out of gorgonzola so it just tasted like a plain cheese pizza. We also got the prosciutto and arugula pizza. The sauce really is just crushed tomatoes with no seasoning so the acidity of that plus the lemon olive oil on top killed the flavor. We couldn't even taste the prosciutto. We also got a pasta dish that was sadly under-seasoned. I'm not sure how this place stays in business. We will never go back.

One of my favorite pizza establishments. The service is wonderful and attentive. The food is amazing. I come for the pizza, my wife, the salads... drinks are very good and moderately priced, and they don't disappoint! In or outside dining. After your meal you can walk it off in beautiful Riveria Village...lots of shops. Neopolitan style pizza that is out of this world. I can eat a whole one, but it can be split btwn 2 people.( You'll want it to yourself, trust me.)
